A traditional humbucker set built to the character of late-1950s to early-1960s examples that I’ve always liked.
Construction
• 42 gauge plain enamel magnet wire
• Alnico II magnet in the neck pickup
• Alnico V magnet in the bridge pickup
• Hand-wound with slightly uneven winds on the bobbins unpotted
Voicing
Balanced and open, with a warm neck position and a stronger, more focused bridge.
