A traditional P-90 built to the specifications I prefer from late-1950s examples. This is my personal favorite P-90 specification — simple, direct, and reliable.
Construction
• 42 gauge plain enamel magnet wire
• Alnico V bar magnets
• Hand-wound to late-’50s range DC resistance
• Unpotted
Voicing
Warm and full in the low end, with enough clarity on top to stay defined.
